Our Objectives
To mobilise rural communities in seed selection, regeneration and exchange as a way of earning livelihood.
To encourage communities to consume indigenous foods by establishing organic market as a way of promoting orphaned indigenous crops.
Seed regenaration using inputs made from locally available materials.
Our Vision
Easy access to diverse indigenous seeds and food for all.

Our Origin Story
Eden Indigenous Seed Farm was born from a simple truth: our traditional seeds the heartbeat of Kenya’s food heritage were vanishing. What began as a humble effort to save a few strains has blossomed into a movement of farmers, dreamers, and guardians of the land.
We are more than a seed bank. We are a living story where indigenous wisdom meets modern science, where communities rise together to protect biodiversity, and where every seed carries the promise of resilience, nourishment, and hope. From conservation and farmer training to organic markets and advocacy, Eden’s programmes weave a future rooted in heritage yet open to innovation. Each seed we save is not just food it is culture, memory, and the future of Kenya’s fields.
